As previously stated, the tennis courts have been permanently closed. Extensive repairs to the tennis courts and retaining walls are required to make the area useable again. Three years ago, the Board received quotes at a cost average of $90,000. The Board’s position was this large cost did not serve the community’s best interest since funding did not exist in the Budget to pay for these repairs. Also, the Board determined that increasing the Budget or imposing a large monthly assessment on each unit owner for this project was not a viable solution either. Therefore, for now, the Board is no longer considering action on the tennis courts.

The HOA requires that each unit owner provide a copy of their declarations page. This is a standing request from the HOA each time the insurance renews and is important for the protection of all unit owners and their neighbors. The unit owner or their insurance agent should send the copy to the community email at: oakleafconcord@gmail.com, or mail it to: Oakleaf HOA, 651 Camrose Circle, Concord, NC 28025, or hand deliver it to any current Board member.
